PHILIPSBURG:---- The Hott Stroterzz Modeling agency will roll out a fashion show this Saturday July 4th 2015 at the Culture Center on the Backstreet starting at 8:00pm. The modeling group has been organizing fashion shows for the past 11 years on the island. The theme for this year’s recital is “Fashion Fusion 2015”.
The group will be showcasing new modeling routines and clothing from local designer Sheila Sorton.The modeling show will have 10 segments and will feature 15 girls strutting on the culture center stage. Parts of the proceeds collected will go towards the center that is in the process of upgrading its facilities. Entrance fee is US $10 at the gate and drinks will be on sale. The girls have been preparing for a month and are excited to showcase their modeling skills to the public.
The girls range from ages 13 to 17 years old. Hott Stroterzz modeling agency is not new to the fashion scene on the island. The group has won 12 titles, six time winners of so you think you can model competition, four time winner of the Teen Times Talent showdown and two times off island.
The modeling group uses the culture center to practice on a regular basis and the center management approached the group to assist raise funds for the center with to upgrade its facilities. Doors will open at 7:00pm and will finish at 10:00pm tonight.
