PHILIPSBURG:--- On Saturday, February 14, 2015 the Xtreme Team of X104 spent the entire day delivering Valentine's Day gift baskets all across the island, as part of their Let X104.3 be your Xtreme Valentine promo.
The 14 Xtreme Valentine's Day Delivery Winners were Ruth & Roger Richardson, Nalisa Appadoo, Mimi Landry, Maddie Odono, Esther Smoorenburg, Lucrecia Lake, Jessie Harry, Charles Smith, Brigitte Bosch, Mariska Weerman & Boyfriend, Rochelle Hodge, Natalie Barret & Husband, Sophie & Kevin Halassy, and grand prize winners Bill & Denise Stuart.
Grand prize winner Bill & Denise Stuart, a couple who has gone through many hardships last couple month were nominated by over 20 different people. So, we decided to make one exception andlet their friends who nominated them, give them their award. Other winners were randomly selected and received their baskets personally in hand on Valentine's Day. Gift baskets included a personalized teddy bear, a box of chocolates, red rose, red wine, perfume and a discreet adult items. The grand prize included all the above mentioned items and an all-inclusive weekend stay at Sonesta Maho Hotel which included a spa treatment for 2, 1 hour photo shoot and a makeover.
Contestants were asked to send in their entries which included their name, the person they nominate to receive the basket name and the reason why that person deserved the basket to X104.3 via website or by calling the X-line.
Additionally X104 switched things up this year by going all love and playing requested song dedications on air all day long. To top it all off, we also handed out 80 roses to random people on the streets as part of Port of St. Maarten, Show Love incentive to bring back the love on the island.
