PHILIPSBURG:--- WTN Cable's TV Carib will be hosting it's first TV-Shopping on Thursday, November 27th, 2014 starting at 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm. It will be broadcast live on TV Carib, channel 10 on WTN Cable's line up.
TV Shopping is a weekly production whereby TV Carib's cameras will be on location at selected businesses for 30 minutes. The establishment is free to advertise and expose its products and services for the duration of the live broadcast. It may offer specials and discounts to patrons or invited guests. TV Shopping is a great opportunity to expose the services and products of the various establishments on the island. It also gives the viewers the opportunity to see where the best deals for various products and services are available.
TV Shopping will air weekly on Thursdays from 10:30 am to 11:00 am with a repeat on the following day. However, this first edition will be aired from 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm and will feature Obersi Electronics, the exclusive distributors for Xerox. We urge our viewers to tune in to this first edition.
As we move into the Christmas season, other businesses will be approached and encouraged to take part in the weekly TV Shopping series. It is geared towards all sizes and types of businesses, big or small.
A number of radio stations have hosted similar events in the past, but TV Shopping is a new phenomenon to TV in St. Maarten.
