UP Says Some of its Campaign Material may have been Vandalized.

upcampaignmaterial28072014PHILIPSBURG:--- The United People's (UP) party is not sure if it is a case of vandalism or just a case of people liking its long bamboo flagpoles along Cole Bay hill, but several of its green flags were found discarded on the hillside with the bamboo poles missing.
UP Leader Member of Parliament Hon. Theo Heyliger says, "UP chose to use bamboo poles, because they are sturdy and can withstand heavy wind pressure. They are also environmentally friendly, better than lumber which results in deforestation when trees are cut down.
"Whosoever is taking the bamboos, we ask them to please stop. The bamboos with our green flags are up for everyone to enjoy and to promote the firm readiness of the party for the August 29 Parliament Elections."
