Gendarmes Begin Recruiting for Reserves.

Marigot:--- Officers from the Delinquency Prevention Brigade (BPDJ), a specialised unit of the Gendarmerie, is expected to be present at the Unemployment Agency in Concordia from June 25th to June 29th, 2012 to showcase a number of career possibilities within the Gendarmerie. Persons that are interested in the various vacancies are asked to participate in the recruitment drive.

The Gendarmerie is currently looking for Reserve Gendarmes, Voluntary Assistant Gendarmes, junior officers, and volunteers for the civil service.
Special attention will be paid to the interested candidates' background since employment is based on the following conditions: Applicants must be French nationals, aged between 17 and 35 years, completed the Day of Defence and Citizenship course, be in good physical condition, and have no prior criminal record.
The presentations for the public will take place between 8:00am and 12:00pm each day.
