Third BTA Suspect to Appear in Court on June 27th --- Other Suspects will be prosecuted after the Summer Vacation.

Philipsburg:--- The third suspect in the Brooks Tower Accord 2 scandal Josianne Emanuel will have to appear in the Court of First Instance on June 27, 2012 confirmed Prosecutor Manon Ridderbecks. Emanuel is the owner of Unico Management Services that was located in Cole Bay. Prosecutor Ridderbecks said Emanuel will be charged with fabricating false labour contracts for a number of people using at least two companies namely Unico Management Services and Cassam Construction.

The Court of First Instance already convicted a Guyanese national Wyesha Gergian Alfred who was an employee of Emanuel. Alfred was convicted on June 13th to six months suspended sentence, three years probation, and 240 hours of community services.

When asked by SMN News when the other suspects, especially those that worked at the Brooks Tower Office on AT Illidge road during the processing of the BTA2 applications will be prosecuted, Ridderbecks said the court's schedule is filled up and they have to wait until after the court recess to prosecute the other suspects that were also arrested. "I can tell you that they will be prosecuted but it will happen after the six week court recess," Ridderbecks said.
