what about those that operate even prior to carnival that is operating on public side walks and on people private proberty. what government policy do they fall under. some of them are even bold in telling you they have the ok from ceertain politians not the department of economic affairs.
Permits should be processed at an earlier time/date. The governor has too much on his plate and is sitting on many permits/payments for the people of sxm. ;-)
:--- To all vendors that are operating during for the carnival season. To me, this says:"Do whatever you want, whenever you want. Just not during carnival season."
This is when the 'poor man/woman' will sell some beer, chicken, peanuts etc. If they make a few dollars, government want their share.
What about the businesses with 'CARNIVAL SPECIALS', who don't give a penny to carnival. They rape the name, but don't pay a penny.
There is no legal means to go after them.
But we can refuse to buy from them.
I believe thhe SCDF should ask all who advertise carnival specials for donations and when they give $500 or more, put a sticker on their door saying 'We Support Carnival'.
If we don't see the sticker, we don't support them.
Okay, so das me dream.
Blessings!!
