Information reaching SMN News that a person's throat was slit in an armed robbery. It is understood that the victim had just completed a bank transaction in the Simpsonbay area. SMN News understands that the victim is also an employee of Nagico Insurances the victim had been identified as Laviette of Nagico Insurances. Speaking to SMN News CEO of Nagico Insurances Imran Macsood stated that the employee was infront of Scotia Bank when he was attacked by unknown persons. They slashed the victim somewhere in the head area and stole a motor vehicle with license plate P-4161. Police are now busy investigating and are on the hunt for the get away car, while the victim is undergoing and emergency operation at the St. Maarten Medical Centre.
