Philipsburg:--- A couple from the Dominican Republic identified as I.M.P. and P.R.S. filed a report with the Special Robbery Unit on Monday May 30th, stating that earlier that evening after returning home from dinner, they were unexpectedly attacked by four unknown men, two of whom were definitely armed with handguns. Both victims tried to escape but were prevented from doing so. The victims were then threatened by the suspects with their weapons, struck several times in their head with the weapons and forced into their home. The house was searched and the victims were asked to hand over the drugs and money. After the victims told the robbers that they had no money and no drugs they fled the scene taking a shoulder bag containing identification card, drivers license, a small amount of cash and a cellular telephone belonging to the female victim.
