At unveiling of Genesis Taxi Building in Sucker Garden.

The Prime Minister of St. Maarten attended the unveiling of the new Genesis Taxi Building in Sucker Garden on Thursday. The prime Minister commented that it was her pleasure to wish Genesis Taxi Association all the best in the opening of their new building; "congratulations to the board and members of the Genesis Taxi Association and indeed to the neighborhood of Sucker Garden on the addition of this service to the people of and visitors to St. Maarten. There is a great responsibility of having a headquarters and an office. Now you are able to strategize and plan and deliberate because now you have established an office and you have the space to make use of it and discuss your plans of the association and the role you play in Country St Maarten," the Prime Minister stated.

The Prime Minister continued by stating that she looks forward to seeing the new Genesis Taxi building utilized to the fullest in offering their service to the community. "All taxi drivers have the responsibility of being ambassadors of the island and so I encourage you to continue to carry out that duty to the fullest and to ensure that you hold the name of St Maarten high, be it to your local clients or to the visitors you interact with. All taxi drivers have a great responsibility in representing this island; your words and what you tell people and the contribution that you make can be taken a long way," ended the Prime Minister.
