St. Martin News Network - UP Faction Leader Commends AUC Corporate Collaboration with USM; UP Appeals to Young People to Apply for a Scholarship.

The United Peoples (UP) Party Faction MP Hon. Sylvia Meyers-Olivacce would like to congratulate the American University of the Caribbean (AUC) for taking the initiative to create the opportunity for citizens of the nation to pursue higher education on the island through the University of St. Martin (USM).
AUC is making available up to US$30,000 for residents 23+ years-old and who have been accepted to USM. Applications for this scholarship should be submitted by July 16 in order to start for the August semester. A scholarship application form and guidelines can be found at www.aucmed.edu.

MP Meyers is calling on the nation's youths and other interested persons to apply for a scholarship at AUC in order to go to USM.
The UP MP is also appealing to the business community to consider what the business sector can do to help the nation's youth and unemployed with respect to upgrading their skills and academic credentials.
