~ Spread of the virus among student population low~.
PHILIPSBURG:--- Minister of Education Youth and Culture Rodolphe Samuel announced on Wednesday at the Council of Ministers press briefing that two teachers have tested positive for the coronavirus at the Oranje School.
Minister Samuel said that CPS had recommended that the school be closed for two days, namely Monday and Tuesday for contacting tracing, however, CPS later recommended that the school remains closed for the next two weeks.
The Minister of Education said that the teachers wore masks while in school and only one teacher wore a screen and as such the spread of the virus among the students is very low, he said the school and its teachers has also relaunched the online tutoring.
