St. Peters Chinese Supermarkets Robbed --- Two Arrested After House Search --- Warning Shots Fired.

St. Peters:--- St. Peters Supermarket and Ho Supermarket were robbed again on Wednesday January 11th 2012 at gun point reported Police Spokesman Ricardo Henson. A press release from the Police Spokesman states that the two supermarkets were robbed around 11:40am and several police patrols responded to the scene. Henson said while police were on the scene one of the victims pointed out the suspect who robbed them earlier to the police patrol. Henson said when the suspect realized he was fingered he began running through the yards of various residences. "Police chased the suspect on foot and they fired two warning shots hoping that the suspect would surrender but the suspect continued running. The foot chase ended up at a house on Apricot road where the suspect was last seen by police and where it was suspected that the suspect was hiding." Police searched the home under the supervision of an acting prosecutor and two suspects with the initials J.M. and A.S. were arrested. Henson said both suspects are from Sint Maarten. A small amount of marijuana, a mask, and several items which can be used to commit armed robberies were found and confiscated for further investigation. The suspects were handed over to the Special Robbery Unit who will continue the investigation.
