MARIGOT:--- The Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin Gendarmerie has issued a concerning-disappearance alert for Maylen Murera Botia, a 17-year-old Colombian national, and is appealing to the public for information that could help locate her.
According to the official alert, Maylen has been missing since late September 2026. Authorities indicate that she was at Hommage Hotel in Baie Nettlé between October 1 and October 3, 2026.
The notice does not explain why she was at the hotel or where she was after October 3.
Public asked to help Locate Teenager
The alert, circulated by the Gendarmerie’s Judicial Support Section, includes Maylen’s photograph to assist with identification.
Authorities classify the case as a “disparition inquiétante d’une personne mineure”—a concerning disappearance involving a minor.
Maylen was born on June 13, 2009. The notice provides no description of what she may be wearing, how she may be traveling, or where she may be going.

Anyone who locates Maylen or has information about her whereabouts is asked to call 17 and report the information to the Gendarmerie.
