SAINT-BARTHÉLEMY:--- Micheline Jacques was elected senator for Saint-Barthélemy in the first round of voting on Sunday, September 27, receiving 13 of the 19 valid votes cast.
All 21 registered members of the electoral college voted. Two ballots were invalid, and none were blank. Jacques exceeded the 10 votes needed for an absolute majority of valid votes and also met the requirement to receive at least one-quarter of the registered electors.
Maxime Desouches received five votes, while Benoît Chauvin received one.
The electoral college publicly proclaimed the result after the count, confirming that a second round was unnecessary.
