PHILIPSBURG:--- The second suspect in the Mitte investigation Rene Guishard that was arrested on October 22nd, 2021, and released on October 31st, 2021 has now been dismissed by his employer, Princess Juliana International Airport.
Information reaching SMN News on Monday states that an email was sent to the Attorneys representing Guishard informing them that their client has been officially terminated, even though a resolution was not sent to Guishard or his attorneys.
SMN News contacted Attorney at Law Jason Rogers for a comment on the termination of his client. Attorney Rogers said that he is not able to make any comments on behalf of the client.
According to information provided to SMN News Guishard and his attorneys were informed that the employer decided to terminate his employment four months after being suspended because he did not cooperate with the employer while they were conducting an investigation into his arrest. Guishard is an Air Traffic Controller that worked for several years.
In the meantime, the Minister of TEATT Roger Lawrence is scheduled to meet with the Holding Board of PJAIE today Tuesday to further discuss the termination of the company’s Chief Operating Officer Michel Hyman was terminated on March 14th, 2022.
