PHILIPSBURG:--- A pedestrian is nursing serious injuries such as a fractured skull, broken ribs, a punctured lung and a broken leg after a hit and run driver ran over him late last night on Cul de Sac Road.
SMN News learned that one driver gave stopped and gave the pedestrian the opportunity to cross the main road while another overtook the driver that stopped to gave the pedestrian the opportunity to cross the road. Relatives of the victim said the driver that ran over their relative that left him severely injured ran away after running over the male victim.
The police are yet to issue a statement on the late-night accident.
