Speaking during a brief prize-giving ceremony Monday, following the weekend event, TelEm Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Kendall Dupersoy, said he was most pleased and highly entertained by the efforts of TelEm Group employees and their interactions with customers and members of the public during the two days of the sales promotion event.
For the past three years, TelEm Group has been putting its own face on Black Friday sales throughout the island by branding their own “Wacky” sales theme, attracting a host of wacky dressers from their own list of customers, members of the public and employees.
“The organizers did a great job and visitors who came to the main building especially to join in the activities and pick up a bargain deal for the day, also have to be praised to the fullest,” said Mr. Dupersoy.
Mr. Dupersoy presented the main prize of the event, a $1,000 check to, lucky prize-winner Lundo Reid, who promised the funds would be put to good use. The 2nd Prize-winner was Magda Murcia (50” Smart TV Plus one-year TelTV Subscription); with Ms. Enya Hook taking home the 3rd prize, Costume dress Wacky to win (iPhone 11).
According to the organizers, a Samsung Note 10 prize was also handed out to Ferdinand George, who was named as the St. Maarten’s Day Contest Winer. Other prizes were also announced including Omari Cannegieter (Kids Costume Winner) who won an Intertoys $100 Voucher; Greg Irion (Winner, Wacky Dollar Bill Contest) who won a $200 Top Up and Diana Rossan (Winner, WhatsApp Contest) who won an iPhone XR.
