PHILIPSBURG:--- On Thursday, November 21st, 2019 - Postulation Day - the submission of the list of candidates by the (deputy) representative of the political party to the Central Voting Bureau, shall take place at the House of Parliament. Political parties have each selected a time-slot of their preference to do so. Each party is urgently requested to arrive on time.
Candidates and supporters that will be accompanying their party during the said event will be expected to take a seat in the public tribune of the Legislative Hall of Parliament. There will be a seating capacity of 42 for the public. An additional 20 persons will be allowed in the lobby area. As such, only an amount of 62 persons at a time will be allowed in the building. This is in connection with the limited space in the building and to ensure the safety of everyone. The KPSM will be present to control such.
Only the (deputy) representative of the political parties to the Central Voting Bureau and/ or a candidate (e.g. a party leader or another desired candidate) will be allowed beyond the point of the public tribune to approach the Central Voting Bureau to submit the list of candidates and give a speech in the event he/she desires.
Interviews with political leaders by the media will not be allowed inside the House of Parliament, due to the limited space upstairs, as well as to maintain an orderly transition between parties based on the schedule below.
