PHILIPSBURG:--- As the 2018 Carnival season comes to an end the police department wants to bring the following to the attention of the public. In the last few days of the carnival season several person have failed complaints with the detective department of theft. These persons stated that they were pick-pocketed by an unknown person(s) while walking through large crowds and mainly during the “Jouvert Jump up” and during events at the Festival Village. The police department is hereby sending a warning to the public to carry your valuables such as wallets and cell phones in a safe place on you to avoid them from been stolen.
