GREAT BAY (DCOMM):--- Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports Hon. Patricia Lourens Philip says the nine-year old school girl who was assaulted allegedly by a mentally ill man is in her prayers.
"It was very disturbing to learn what transpired last week Thursday. The incident must not be allowed to happen again. This matter needs to be addressed promptly and preventative interventions taken.
"This nine-year old was lucky, next time it could be someone else who loses their life. My prayers and thoughts are with the young lady and her family and I wish her a speedy recovery," Minister of Education Hon. Patricia Lourens-Philip said on Tuesday.
