Philipsburg:--- Nieuwe Post Netherlands Antilles (NPNA) has stripped Postal Services of St. Maarten (PSS) of all its assets. SMN News learned that NPNA removed all the computers from the Post Office on St. Maarten while they also took away all the vehicles that were used by St. Maarten to service the community. SMN News further learnt that the Supervisory Board of PSS had to rent at least eight vehicles so that they could have continued to provide postal services in the different districts while the PSS board and the Prime Minister of St. Maarten Sarah Wescot Williams are currently negotiating the purchase of some vehicles from an auto dealer.
While NPNA has claimed ownership of all assets at the Post Office on St. Maarten, it should be noted that St. Maarten does have 25% shares in the assets that are yet to be divided.
A source close to Prime Minister Sarah Wescot Williams said that NPNA has claimed all assets on St. Maarten stating that the assets belong to the NPNA NV that is located on Curacao. The source further explained that when the vehicles were seized by NPNA they were taken to Soualiga Service Point. SMN News also learnt that the vehicles were shipped out of St. Maarten on Tuesday.

Very good negotiating, Sarah! Soon they -NPNA- will leave without paying out the workers for years of service.
Patrick, you did a wonderful job messing up that post office situation from day one.

Provide services in the different disticts, for sure not mine as I am not receiving mail service since August 2011. This is long before whatever happened now by NPNA N.V. I can only say good so NAPA as the transportation was used for personnel private use, like driving all over the place, carrying their kids to school etc. and not delivering mail and servicing the ma**a of this island. I can only rejoice that something like this happened. Say whatever you want but I got a fine to pay of almost fifty thousand guilders because I did not re-act to mail that was sent to me which I never received. It was that Marshal that made me aware of the letter to which no reaction from my part. If the post office personell know what kind of trouble this is causing in the whole SXM community. I guess I am not the only one that since August 2011 was and still not receiving mail. Look at that bigger picture before blaming NPNA for their actions. I am a SXMER born and Antillean born since birth, I do not like Curacao as I lived there in the past, but when the Post office is wrong by not trying to secure whatever by working, now do not blame NPNA.
Too late, only lazy persons at the NPNA and are being protected by our government and Union for non action. Get rid of them and wake up now. More to come for sure.

hahhahahah lol....this does just make me laugh, that is what Mr Hubert Pantophlet & Miss Stuart Johnson has to worry about, and not about Denicio purchasing computers to keep the post office functioning, this crab mentallity that we have is what is killing us, put Denicio back, this is just proof that he was right, or maybe they will try dirty his name now, nobody i perfect..let him without sin cast the first stone......put Denicio back to work and stop hating....

  • wow
    avatar

hmm....this one went down much easier than when they (CUR) stole ALM a**ets from the other islands, and not one politician said a word (we get what we voted for)

So who had the keys of these cars, couldn't they be stopped, until all was straightening out, and then give sxm their 25%.

So since the Supervisory board bzy managing the day to day ops, who's managing the Management stuff? such as dealing with NPNA and stop them from taking the stuff until things are ironed out...

  • @ wow

the supervisory board so busy and putting all their engergy into trying to get rid of a local sxmer that they aint got time for npna who is busy driving off with the cars and computers, bunch of jacka.sses.

This was in the making all the time.

CURACAO, WILL NOT STOP SCREWING OVER ST.MAARTEN
IT SEEMS LIKE, THAT IS ALL THEY ARE TRAINED TO DO.

CURACAO HAS THIS " INGLES STINKI " AGAINST ST.MAARTEN, HISTORY IS REPEATING.

THEY REALLY JUST HATE US, AND ALWAYS PLOTTING TO SCREW US OVER.

    DID LIESJE HELP WITH THIS?

PEOPLE DON'T SHIP CARS ANY MORE,
    THEY SELL THEM OFF.

GIVE DENICIO BACK HIS JOB, AND A DESK FOR THEM TO WORK.

WE NEED OUR MAIL, I ONLY USE THE MAIL, TO PAY MY BILLS, AFTER I RECEIVE THEM

8000 GUILDERS IS 8000 GUILDERS NO MATTER HOW YOU ADD IT, DIVIDE IT, MULTIPLY IT, OR SUBSTRACT IT.

THE CROOKS THAT ARE CALLING FOR DENICIO HEAD
IS BECAUSE THEY WANT TO BRING HIM DOWN TO THEM.

ST.MAARTEN, LET US CHANGE AND ALL DO BETTER FOR ST.MAARTEN IN 2012.

    GOOD SHALL OVERCOME.

Now that some light have been shed , i believe readers would have realized what the real truth is.
There is more to come , the upcoming months the PSS workers will be in deep trouble trying to collect a salary since the supervisory board and the PM lay down and play dead while nieuw post in curacao(NPNA) stripped the workers of their rights to get paid out for the years of service, with the help of the supervisory board and the PM, and the PSS was also also striped from all possible means of making money through their services that was rendered in the past in the old Post office (NPNA sxm)
I still wonder why the Union also agreed to this nonsence deal that was truck.
Mr Hubert Pantophlet if this is what you went curacao to negotiate with the NPNA officials, then i believe you have proven to be again a jack of all aces.
This means that the survival of the workers at PSS is at steak.

If i continue to predict the outcome of this then i believe that it is too late to better the situation at PSS !
    what a shame !

PM please Free St.Maarten from these bad decision making board of PSS and admit you too made the wrong decisions ;you should have stuck to your gun and give NPNA a run for its money and a**ured the workers their years of service payout from the NPNA.

These people have to stop going to Curacao and eating what they should rub with. ;-) Those post offie workers are biting off their noses to spite their faces. They are working against Denicio (personally) and not joining to keep the post office running. Do not fear because God is for Sxm, we have been bless by many who have visited our shores so we shall survive no matter what they throw at us.

  • The Curacao play off
    avatar

This is what happens when you have a curacao man who's the PRIME MINISTER legal advisor run the negociations. Everyone was in the paper about how good a deal all got an then it started:
Employees don't know where they stand, A new store opened to do MONEY GRAM in Micheal Ferrier building, Denisio get suspended and the idioot Roy Marlin treatened Hubert because somebody screwing somebaody sister, DP up shit streak once again and this time it will FALL DOWN. They DP destroyed many of their own and used puppets within the movement to do so. Today where's Franky, Theo, Louie etc. Ask yourself truly what happeneing in this country. It will NEVER STOP UNTILL SARAH LEAVES.
Our Prime Minister MUST BE THEO HEYLIGER.

I have always said: the curacoleans are jealous of sxm. They try in everything to do sxm bad. But sxm is Blessed and that is why curacao will keep going down in their own mischiefness.

No matter how hard they try to destroy us, they will never succeed.
Yes, there will be time like this when we will get hurt. But we will come back out of it.
Not because of the kind of government we have as they leave a lot to desire but because God is with us.

The time will come when all those who are in government will vry blood. There sorrow will be so great and there will be no comfort for them.

One day sxm will be released from all evil, and that day is soon to come.
People, don't give up. Keep praying. But when you pray, do not ask bad for others as that will not help. Just ask for sxm to be saved out of the hands of the devil.
    God will do the rest.
