Can someone please explain to me what a 'minister of plenipotentiary' is? I always thought the fixed term was 'Minister Plenipotentiary' , at least that is what the Van Dale dictionary says.

    @ Help,
Forget about the official right title, that is completely irrelevant.
The job is to try to convince the Dutch in Holland, that St.Maarten's politicians are not corrupt, but are the most honest, professional ones on the planet and that there is absolutely no corruption on the Friendly Island.
Once you can say that with a straight face, never rocking the boat, you are well qualified for the job and will therefore be well paid.
Even if you do not have a clue of what is going on, then just cut ribbons or give out sxm-made souvenirs.
Having the right features is also a great a**et for the job.
    Compris ?
