Curacao Government in Limbo, Weils pulls Support from Schotte’s Cabinet --- Talks to take place on Friday.

Willemstad, Curacao:--- The government of Curacao is currently in limbo. Prime Minister Gerrit Schotte was on the radio on Wednesday speaking about the current situation of his government after Herman Wiels pulled his support from Schotte's cabinet. According to information reaching SMN News, it appears as though Minister Spies placed certain conditions on Curacao's government after they realized that Curacao now has a deficit even though the country had a surplus of 52 million when they took office some 20 months ago. SMN News further learnt that Curacao's Finance Minister George Jamalodeen has refused to attend the parliamentary meetings to give account on government's spending. According to information coming out of Curacao, Schotte's cabinet blew the tax payers monies on traveling expenses, however, this could not be confirmed Wednesday night.
SMN News also learnt that the Deputy Prime Minister of Curacao Charles Cooper is off island and he should be back on Curacao on Friday where talks between his government and its coalition partners will take place.
Former Minister of Justice Magali Jacoba and David Dick said the Government has not yet fallen and that the situation remains the same.
