Body of Man Found Floating in Simpson Bay Lagoon --- No One Reported Missing.

Philipsburg:--- The body of an unknown man was found floating in the Simpson Bay Lagoon late Sunday afternoon. SMN News learnt that the body was found behind Hertz Car rental in Simpson Bay. Police detectives along with a Forensic team were at the scene conducting their investigations, confirmed Chief Prosecutor Hans Mos. Mos said based on the police preliminary investigations the victim seems to have died of drowning and the body appears to have been in the water for the past 24 hours. Mos said up to late Sunday evening no one has been reported missing and police was not able to identify the victim.
SMN News further learnt that the victim could be from one of the boats docked in the Simpson Bay Lagoon and he was probably drunk, reasons they believed he drowned. SMN News will bring you more information on the identity of the victim when the information becomes available.
