Philipsburg:--- On Monday October 1st, 2012, a brief ceremony was held at the Cabinet of the Ministry of Justice, to officially swear in and recognize eighteen law enforcement officers in the Ministry of Justice's Law Enforcement Agencies, more specifically, for the department of the Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard.
The Minister of Justice the Honorable Roland Duncan along with the Department Head Mr. Edison Kirindongo, officially recognized all eighteen men as law enforcement officers and congratulated them and encouraged them to serve Sint Maarten to the best of their abilities.
