Cole Bay:---According to reports allegedly Gendarmes on motorbikes were in hot pursuit of a gray colored Hyundai Atos carrying French license-plate 873ZA971 (alleged stolen vehicle). In a sharp turn in Cole Bay both Gendarmes fell to ground with their bikes and the 873ZA971 managed to escape. At around 4.45 pm, the police central directed the patrol to the scene that was located at Narrow Road in Cole Bay. After searching the area the patrols located the vehicle later at about 5:45 pm., on Well road in Marianne Estate. The vehicle was towed away for further investigation.
