Gracita does not have to defend Theo. He can defend himself. UP is not in problems my dear. That's wishful thinking. UP is growing day by day. Don't worry, only 12 more days and time will tell.

Again, Theo is not interesting in to traveling to the Netherlands to deal with the peoples business......he is now saying that he was not invited....flauw excuse......Mr. man you are still part of EXCO eventhough you resigned!! Theo is NO leader nor can he represent sxm in NO way......

Theo Heyliger, is unaccountable, incapable, has absolutely NO leadeship skills and the educational background to lead country sxm. And he is never around when the people need him!! He takes NO responsibilty when it comes to the peoples business........

Theo with Gracita say they is a TEAM and now you got some clown on this website making stupid comments. If your a team you have to defend and support each other.

Tell your UP friends SXM is not for Wathey and meyers family only.

The only people who are voting UP are the people who are ignorant of facts and have little education background. Theo is popular with young people in clubs like Soggy Dollar and Tantra, but these kids do not understand the basics of governing.
The UP party will be a party of the Watheys and Meyers who will suck SXM dry. Look at Toochie Meyers and what kind of individual he is, his wife is running on UP. His brother Frankie is behind the scenes in the party. Toochie is a bully and a gangsta.
I predict that the first government of country SXM will flat on its face.

I hate when people talk about families who work from the ground up. They were not born with a golden spoon in their mouth. They worked their @$$ off to secure their kids, and their kids to secure their kids. Is that something bad to do? I think many families besides the "wathey and meyers" should be recongnized. The Marlins, Williams, Petersons, Richardsons, Chance, Labegas, Flanders, Lakes, Gumbs, Buncampers, Flemings, Arrindells, and many more. They all worked hard to get what they have.

Election is all about gossip. People rather believe crap and listen to third party comments than actually going to the politicians. AVS has debates, go to it and ask your questions, or go to the respective party's meetings look for the politician and ask him or her what you want to know.

All parties has their pros and cons. All politicians / candidates has their pros and cons. Just remember its the voters who makes them, and its the voters who can break them.

Dear Electorate of SXM,

UP, NA, DP....it doesn't matter how you'll vote: UP will be in a position as King maker.

And please people, don't make the mistake that you think that UP and DP are NOT in bed with each other. Just look at the president of the DP long time girlfriend: indeed also a Wathey.
So if you vote green: you vote Wathey Meyers and if you vote Red: you vote Wathey Labega. Wathey represented any which way you vote as the NA will never get a majority outright.

It's sad, but very true. So I'm voting blank as the NA has proven to be just as incapable to Govern as the DP has. Sarah is no leader as she could not keep her 'hens' in check and frankly she should've been replaced as leader because of just that.

After seeying the lack of quality (and education) of the other CPA candidate during yesterday's debate, I can't vote for anyone on that list either.

Lets dont underestimate the NA!!!!!!

I AM voting, I'm casting a BLANK vote as no party has demonstrated to be capable to govern. Especially not when were talking about being able to govern a COUNTRY.

Don't underestimate the NA? Well, the facts don't lie, here are some of them:
- NA has no Governing Program to date (but promised this 14 months ago)
- Although a Stimulus Package was promised and agreed to many months ago: none of these initiatives have been activated to date.
- NA led ExCo signed a last minute 7 year term rental contract to the tune of over $ 8 million of our tax dollars, but will never own any of this real estate nor have more affordable locations seriously been considered.
- NA wants a multi million dollar Drag Race Track in the MIDDLE of the Salt Pond, in the middle of an urban area.
- NA has added a convicted (in Court of First Instance) ex Commissioner to their slate (if the conviction is upheld in the Appeals Court, this candidate has to be removed from Public Office for 5 years.

Just to name a few arguments. And FYI, I have similar lists of arguments why not to vote for UP and DP either.

BLANK VOTER SHOULD SHUT TO HELL UP AND LEAVE ROOM FOR REAL VOTERS .IF EVERY ONE THINK LIKE YOU THEY TRUELY WILL BE DEPRESS YOU WANT TO WIN THE LOTTO WITH OUT BUYING A TICKET .GET UP OFF YOUR LAZY TAIL AND TRY SOME THING .

When Theo then with DP was building the boardwalk there was a lot of opposition as well. In fact I can remember a protest that got very ugly. Now everybody, I mean everybody is walking, admiring and chilling on the boardwalk as if nothing happened. All that blah blah blah for what? The same goes for the ring road. A lot of opposition again. When it is finished everybody including members of the Pride Foundation will be driving along the ring-road, happy about the possibility to avoid heavy traffic and get to her location without wasting to much time, as nothing has happened. The pride foundation should stop playing politics and pay attention to other more important environmental matters. Starting with the dump.

who's company brings in the oil to SXM and has our GEBE bills at an all time high.Who slimmed his way out of his responsibilities at Public Works Department when Sh*t got hot.Every project done for so called SXM is a couple million dollars in his pockets.It's in the bloodline.
In the first 100 days in office you know who... will only do you know what ....for you know who.
Don't get me wrong DP and N.A. aint no better.The only white flag we should hang up is the one of defeit.We give up on all our polititions.SXM,Soualiga or TRUE BLOOD COUNTY

I too will vote blank. I have not been able to find one candidate that has the environment at heart and soul. Pride foundation speaks for those of us that have lost faith in our leaders who should be taking care of the beaches, the ponds, the air quality, the sewage.
btw, where is the waste processing plant TO said he has been working on?
The CPA has Elco Rosario writing for them, another educated loser, Jeffrey Richardson does not have sufficient education for me to even consider him as a serious candidate.
One thing for sure, PRIDE foundation is sure UPsetting some political candidates. Their group has been working during the years to bring issues to light not only during election time.

Because I voted for the N.A. last election and I am not voitng for them this election, becuase they are just very incompetent and incapable of governing. Bad government and no transparency is what the have shown in my opinion. So please, post the list. I will be waiting.

Be my guest. Marlin can post it himself if he likes. Because I too find the N.A. incapable and incompetent. I voting DP and the five people in my family

Blanket voters are stupid because they do not solve the problem in SXM. If you cannot trust anyone to run the country doesn't mean you should just let things be. In fact if you can't change people maybe you yourself need to change in order to bring change. Why not start your own party? If you're not ambitious enough to do that or if that's not you then just keep your mouth shut! I'm sure of all the politicians there are, there must be 1 that is truly there for the people and SXM. Maybe you should look into that instead of just looking at all the wrong people.

To be honest I understand what you blank voters are saying but your behavior will not change or better SXM.

As for the UP, DP and NA, I do not trust all of them. I'm sorry but I too am worried when one family have too much power and I have seen some of these people bully others and act as if they are better than other.

I'm afraid of having people like that in power.
