Chippie and Caribbean Eagles support Breast Cancer Awareness Bike Ride.

bikersforboobs04102012Philipsburg:--- Chippie and the Caribbean Eagles have collaborated with the Positive Foundation and the Elektralyets Foundation in organizing a breast cancer awareness bike ride this upcoming Sunday October 7th, 2012. The annual bike-ride is themed: Bikers For Boobs and is intended to add to the momentum of the various activities and events organized by the two collaborating foundations. The intention of all the activities is to create awareness for the breast cancer cause. To make people more aware of the risks, encourage regular screening, and educate the community on the impact the disease has. "Every year it a pleasure to collaborate with Elektra and the Positive Foundation on the various events throughout the month of October," says UTS Marketing and Communication Officer, Ivy Lambert. "We will be walking with them during the Pink Parade, collaborating on the Bikers for Boobs Ride, and the Pink Phit and Phabulous Walk-n-Splash. We will also be working together on the Pink Concert to close off the entire month of activities," Lambert continued. "Every year they bring fresh, new ideas to the events and because of that the decision to support them each year is an easy one to make as a corporate sponsor. As a company you want your contribution to a cause to make a difference in the lives of those you're hoping to help and in this case it is clear that we help the foundations achieve their goals, together with our fellow sponsors." All participants will receive a free shirt from Chippie (pictured) and other goodies at the starting point of the ride at 3pm at the Caribbean Eagles Club House in Cole Bay (Opposite Prime Distributors). "Anyone can participate in the ride," says local radio personality and Elektralyets Foundation president, Mercedes "Elektra" Wyatt. "People can come on their Harleys, street bikes, quads or scooters. The group gets bigger every time and it's an afternoon filled with fun."
