bianastlouis09032010Marigot:--- Prosecutor Jacques Louvier has started an investigation into the death of a little girl who passed away at the Louis Constant Fleming Hospital on March 1. The child has been identified as Bianca St. Louis and she is of Haitian decent. Louvier said he is busy conducting an involuntary homicide into the death of Biancia St. Louis after her father filed an official complaint with his office.
The French vice prosecutor said he ordered an autopsy, which was conducted on Friday by a French pathologist on the Dutch side of the island. The pathologist he said came in from Martinique on his request. Louvier said based on the findings he can say that the child died due to negligence while at the hospital. "Right now I am putting the files together in the child's death" Louvier said.
According to information, reaching SMN News the child had a medical condition that required a surgery however; the doctors at the Louis Constant Fleming Hospital did not perform that surgery which could have saved the little girl's life. Efforts made by this reporter to contact the relatives of little Bianca proved futile up to press time.

Negligence: Failure to exercise the degree of care considered reasonable under the circumstances, resulting in an unintended injury to another party.
In other words an act or an failure to act which result in the harm of another. In this case the doctors failed to perform the operation which could have saved the little girl. Their failure to do so is negligence.

So sad to see a child had to die before officials could look in to that establishent.
I'm talking from experience when i say majority of those so call doctors especially on weekends and at night, are no good.
The officials have to really take a good long look at their work, including attitude and hospitality up there even if they have to video tape the room cause i tell u it's horrible. That was a child but how about who had pregnancy problem and they sent home tellin u " wait till monday to see your medecin traitant". Some even ask u if it's that what make u come there, like u bordering them. Bull sh***!

This story reminds me of Diana Hodge, the pregnant mother who died at the hands of a gynecologist. II think her parents have the hospital and the doctor in court for involuntary manslaughter. A few more cases like this and there goes LCF Hospital.
