morelle25022010Marigot: --- The court of first instance has granted the request of the attorneys representing Pascal Morelle on Thursday as he appeared before the court for arresting four minors illegally. Batonniers Derussy and Nicolas asked the court to grant them a postponement since they have not received the process verbal on the case.
The lawyers said that they needed to have the necessary documents to prepare a proper defense for their client. The defense lawyers said they made a request to the prosecutor's office since February 11 2010 and to date they have not received the necessary documentation. Prosecutor Jacques Louvier objected to the request of the lawyers saying the case is rather simple. He said his intention was to finish this case on Thursday however, after a short deliberation the court decided to postpone the case until March 18.
Morelle in an invited comment said he is looking for justice and instead he is the one that is being punished. Morelle said his house was robbed and he did his own investigation and caught the culprits responsible for the break in. He said he took all four of the minor suspects to the gendarmerie hoping that justice would be served.
morellesup25022010The courthouse was under high security on Thursday morning since several friends and other acquaintances of Morelle showed up at the courthouse in support of Morelle. Some of the supporters said that the four suspects that were released by the gendarmes have already committed other break ins to homes and businesses on the French side.

Look at them out there "supporting him". Where were they when he traumatized the postal workers in marigot post office 2 years ago, when he went in there with a weapon to threaten them? where was justice then? And he also threathen workers at the hospital. This man is dangerous, when he does not get what he wants, he loses his tempers and threatens people with weapons. There are many witnesses to this, and they NEVER locked him up. Yes those 4 boys he caught should be tried, but why wasn't this man tried and locked up also, why those "white people" did not come to innocent people's defense back then, but then we know that all the postal workers (tellers) are black, so they did not care two kicks who he killed then.
Lock him up!!!

@psn i agree with you about the white people part..truth is if he was black nobody would be supporting him (but doesn't that say more about us not supporting each other?) plus those fonctionnaires at the post office have so much attitude and will never shy away from talking down to you if you make a mistake or say something wrong (and this happenend to me multiple times at the post office with female tellers)...but that was the past, the case now is about the robbery and how he dealt with it and i can't do anything but support him cuz i c nuthing wrong with what he did and i can see myself and others doing the same.....and please all marigot was close down as tough some serial killer with machine guns was being tried..

Don't you all think that the Post Office Officials and the Hospitals' failed to press charges against him, letting him go free? They failed to protect their staff and patrons, why? so the guy's got a habit of criminal activities himself... perhaps that's why the Gendarmes turn on him. they got him in the act himself. He's not supposed to touch them nor hold them. it's called kidnapping. To think he got those little mongooses off the hook.
