The police officer was in his personal car but not on Patrol. And he react very fast to managed to hold one of the suspect . This police officer was braves he didn't wait no time to take action, he alone run behind the suspects and fire the warning shot and took one of them down and wait for the patrols to reach. I saw that happen right there by the ijscream place, This officer have to get a price ! Good Job officer good job.

I was also there, and the officer did a great job..thx officer. Now what going to happen again, this guy might be out of prison 2-3 day from now and on the streets again to rob innocent people. The message to send to this bandit is to lock him up for 3-5 years for this crime...because this young man don't have any regards and respect for St.Maarten main industry Tourism. If tourist stop coming we are doom and much more crime..so let it come to a ful stop right here..arrest all his friends who were involved also and let them spend hard time.Sorry the young people bwoy oh bwoy..God help us all.

I agree for them to be locked up for many years.
They are Terrorists.Their acts are jeopardizing a whole country.Until the court starts to view attacks on our main industry-Tourism-as an act of terror these youths would continue to attack them
Note that Carnival and celebrity have pulled out of Antigua because of the murders of their pa*sengers.

Waste of the bullets....Shoot to kill or at least deadly wounded...I gues the officer did shoot to injure or kill, but due to his bad shooting skill(he not to blame, the po po dont practise) and the old "tool" with lot of malfunctions..he could not do "better"...but it was a good job indeed..result the judge will give the man a community service and or a little stay n hotel california...set of jokers o no?

I agree. with you guys.
These bandits should be tried as terrorists.
They want to close down our tourist industry and have hundreds of children hungry and homeless all because they want to buy Bling.
Jail them for life.
Carnival and another Cruise liner have pulled out of antigua beacause three of their pasengers were killed there.
Are the authorities going to wait until the same thing happens to St Maarten???????????
