Philipsburg: --- The police department is busy investigating a shooting incident which took place on Tuesday Octobober 28 at approximately 01:30pm. Police Spokesman Ricardo Henson said police responded to number 19 Lionel Conner Road in Ebenezer for a possible shooting incident. Henson said police spoke to the resident of the home with initials F.M.C who stated that shortly before she and her family were in one of the bedrooms when they suddenly heard a strange crackling noise in the house. Shortly after they heard the same strange sound coming from the living room area also. Not knowing what was causing this strange noise F.M.C. and her family decided to inspect the house to find out what was causing the noise.
Upon inspection of the house they noticed that front door had what looked like a bullet-hole in it and also the glass windows in the door were shattered. Not trusting the situation the police was immediately notified. F.M.C stated that they had not seen any strange cars or persons in the neighborhood, but had they suspected who may have shot at the home.
An official complaint has been filed with the detective department. During the investigation on the scene the detectives also noticed one vehicle parked on the side of the street and one vehicle parked on the premises had bullet impacts on them. The Forensic department was called in to do their investigation. No one was injured in this case.
