1st PWR Hour Focuses on Technology.

lounge18022018Entrepreneurs and innovators get information about technology to help them grow their businesses

Great Bay:---  The Power Hour was launched in 2013 as a networking event to provide tips to entrepreneurs and professionals to achieve unparalleled success. Since then it has been able to influence more than 1200 entrepreneurs and professionals with key notes from the island’s most notable entrepreneurs including Mr. Imran McSood, Chairman of NAGICO, Mr. Jean Arnell, co-founder and managing partner of COMPUTECH, and Mr. Arun Jagtiani, CEO of Island Real Estate Team.
Over the years, the organizers of the Power Hour have created other experiences, with their partners, to cater to the varying target groups of entrepreneurs, such as Dominate The Runway, which focused on creative entrepreneurs in fashion through the Caribbean, IP IMPACT focused on intellectual property for small medium enterprises (SME’s), and DOMINATE 360 the international event to help start-up entrepreneurs and innovators from the region to achieve unparalleled success.
After assessing the needs of entrepreneurs and innovators both on the island and in the region, the organizers under the leadership of Ife Badejo, have decided to develop a new brand, PWR (Produce Wealth Revolution) and rebrand the Power Hour. The new brand allows the organizers to better serve entrepreneurs, innovators, and SME’s on St. Maarten and in the region to accelerate their growth and build thriving 21st-century businesses.
The PWR (pronounced “power”) Brand includes an agency that provides innovative sustainable solutions and network which provides savings for its members and helps them build strategic relationships. The PWR Hour is the flagship experience that gives entrepreneurs and innovators cutting-edge information to grow their businesses while connecting to potential partners and clients.
As St. Maarten recovers from the devastating effects of the hurricanes in late 2017, entrepreneurs, innovators, and SME’s have a unique opportunity to help build back its economy and propel it forward in the 21st century. Understanding what affordable tools and technologies exist is then imperative for the island’s entrepreneurial community. For this reason, organizers are pleased to announce that UTS- a telecommunications service provider is a corporate partner for the first PWR Hour of 2018. Representatives of UTS will provide additional information on the best ways to use affordable technology to grow their business.
This PWR “Tech” Hour will help entrepreneurs, innovators, and SME’s to better understand what is required to succeed in the 21st century and how to overcome the specific challenges that St. Maarten’s entrepreneurial community faces.
To show their appreciation for the inspiring continued support, this first PWR Hour is a gift from The PWR Agency, UTS, and the organizers to St. Maarten’s dynamic entrepreneurial community. Registration is required to best accommodate the attendees. For more information, email This email address is being protected from spambots.
