PHILIPSBURG:--- On July 23rd, 2016 The Rotaract Club of Sint Maarten sunrise conducted their very first general meeting for this year 2016-2017, which was ordered by the President Ms. Georgette Rampersad.
A presentation of appreciation was given to persons who dedicated their time and effort to the Change of Board Ceremony. Again, Special thank you to DJ Siw’Roo, Photographer Kerwan Celestine, Photographer Cameron Hyman and all the businesses and companies who sponsored and contributed to this event.
During our general meeting, present was the President of Rotary Sunrise Okama Ekpe, our New Generations Chair Rumini Rogers, our Assistant District Rotaract Representative Miceala Hart, Prospective members and all the members. We would like to thank you for being present.
During our general meeting we shared and discussed upcoming events and projects we wish to carry out this year. More information on those projects will be shared with the public soon.
Our general meeting ended by us doing a toast to our starting New Rotaract 2016-2017 year.
Our next general meeting would be on Saturday, August 13th 2016 at 7:30pm at the University of Saint Martin. Cheers to this New Year’s success!
