New Political Parties have one year to wait before they could contest elections.
PHILIPSBURG: --- SMN News has been reliably informed that Governor Eugene Holiday signed off on the LB presented by Prime Minister William Marlin to annul the LB presented by former Prime Minister Marcel Gumbs to call elections on February 9th 2016.
SMN News understands that governor Holiday signed the LB with a condition giving the current coalition a one year extension in order for them to work on electoral reform.
Efforts made to reach Prime Minister William Marlin on Friday for an official comment proved futile.
