PHILISBURG:--- Rotary Club of St. Maarten Mid Isle presented Dr. Lance Nash with a Paul Harris Fellow. The previous board under the leadership of Immediate Past President (IPP) Wayne Wilkie presented Dr. Nash this recognition for his numerous financial donations towards Rotary projects, and his hands-on service in preparing the meals of Rotary Mid Isle’s first Wine Tasting Fundraising dinner and for preparing the breakfast at the recently held Motor Treasure Hunt where he also personally sponsored a team. There are many other activities that he has personally contributed to.
Dr. Nash is an exemplary Rotarian deserving of this recognition.
IPP Wayne presented the pin, President David presented the medallion and
First Lady Denise presented the PHF certificate to Dr. Nash.
We were very honored to have the St. Maarten Minister Plenipotentiary
Josianne Fleming-Artsen as a guest speaker, who gave us quite a detailed
insight of her cabinet. Some members of Rotary Nord were also in attendance,
along with some prospective members of Rotary St. Maarten Mid Isle . Mrs. Fleming Artsen also congratulated Dr. Nash on his recognition.
