PHILIPSBURG:--- The Philipsburg Jubilee Library (PJL) would like to announce to the general public that it is adjusting its opening schedule for the summer months and is currently extending its annual summer grace period to its members.
In the period between the 7th of July through the 17th of August, the library will be closing its doors earlier than usual on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On Mondays the library will be closed all day; on Tuesdays and Wednesdays the opening times will be 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm; Thursdays, the library will open at 2:00 pm and will close at 8:00 pm; the schedule on Fridays will be 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm; and on Saturdays the opening times will be 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Regular opening times will resume on August 18th, 2015.
During the summer, members of the library will also enjoy the special grace period, which runs from the 23rd of June through to the 4th of July. During this period library members can return all their overdue books without incurring any fine at all.
There will be plenty of things for you to do at the library during this summer vacation period. Be sure to visit your library and enjoy the new books and magazines on offer, have a snack at the library café, take part in computer courses or enroll in one of the summer camps for kids and young adults.
