PHILIPSBURG:--- Two talented young dancers will begin their journey in pursuing a career in dance this summer. In order to raise funds for their schooling, they are hosting a dance fundraiser on Saturday, May 9 at Spm at Dance Theatre of St.Maarten, located within the Mexaplex Movie Theatre.
Bianca Dijkhoffz and Tyra Els have dedicated their life to dance since the age of 4 at both, The Motiance Dance School and the Indisu Dance Theatre of St.Maarten. Tyra will be attending the prestigious Alvin Ailey in New York City. While Bianca has been given an Outstanding International Award that gives her guaranteed acceptance to Broadway Dance Center in New York City.
The funds raised are being used towards tuition, living and travel expenses. Registration starts at Spm where beginners and advanced/intermediate classes are
offered for both Hip-Hop and Ballet. The dance workshop is open for every one of all
ages.
