House Rules Presentation For The Joint Central Emergency Dispatch

meldkamer09042015PHILIPSBURG:--- On Thursday April 9th a presentation of the "House Rules" for the Joint Emergency Dispatch Center was given at the Philipsburg Police Station by Chief Inspector Benjamin Gout Head of the Traffic and Police Support Department. The presentation was given to the team leaders and personnel of the Ambulance Department and police department who will be working in the Joint Emergency Dispatch Center. These rules and regulations were jointly put together to bring clarity in the working relation among colleagues from both emergency departments. In other words "The rules of the game" so that everyone involved can work together in a pleasant environment and professional manner.
To clearly formulate the guidelines all misunderstandings in the communication can be prevented and we can then move forward to make this emergency dispatch center exactly what it is intended to be, which is, to share information and offer support in a friendly and professional manner.
As of Saturday April 11th through Monday April 27th 2015 several works shops and presentations will be given to the team leaders and personnel. A so called "wet start" will be conducted on Friday April 16th allowing the personnel to work and get familiar with the equipment. As of Monday April 27th the entire system will go on line.
During this presentation the Ambulance Department was represented by Mr. Cyl Richardson and the Police Department by the Acting Chief of Police Commissioner Carl John.
