French Quarter:--- The Gendarmes are busy investigating a shooting incident which took place late Friday night in French Quarter in the vicinity of a Chinese Supermarket on Coralita Road.
According to information reaching SMN News one person identified as Jeremy Glascow (26) died from a fatal shot he received in the chest area. Two other persons are said to be injured they are Charles Barry who received two shots, one in his arm and another in the leg area, while the third victim who also received gunshot wounds has been identified by residents of French Quarter as Jipson of Haitian decent.
Efforts made to reach Prosecutor Flavien Noailles proved futile as he could not be reached by telephone. SMN News also could not reach the commandant or captain of the gendarmerie on Saturday for confirmation on the fatal shooting. The receptionist at the La Savanne center said its weekend and those in charge cannot be reached on weekends.
