Academy holds Public Information Session for CAPE.

CUL DE SAC:--- St. Maarten Academy will on Thursday, January 29, 2015, hold a public information session for parents and students of pre-examination classes. The meeting, which will commence at 6:00pm at the school's academic campus in Cul de Sac, is aimed at discussing and providing information on the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) programme currently being offered at the school.

CAPE was introduced at the sixth form level at the St. Maarten Academy in September 2014 and it is one of the programmes offered by the Caribbean Examination Council (CXC), the main examining body of the school. It is a post-secondary degree programme that has been in existence for over 16 years and it may be the next step for your child/ward in completing their academic goals.

Parents are being encouraged to come out and have their questions answered and gain more clarity about the programme. That way, they will be able to make an informed decision before their students choose a college/university.
