PHILIPSBURG:--- Alexander Maynard, also a member of the St. Maarten Housing Development Foundation (SMHDF) said in an email to the media of St. Maarten that he was not party to any meeting and has no knowledge of any decisions taken to suspend the Managing Director of the St. Maarten Housing Development Foundation (SMHDF). Maynard also made clear that he did not hire any attorney to act on his behalf and also attached two documents relating to the Lynch court case.
The email sent to the media of St. Maarten reads as follows:
As one of three board members of the St. Maarten Housing Finance Foundation, I have not been party to any discussions made or witnessed any decision(s) concerning the modifying of Mr. Henry Lynch and Colleagues relationship with SMHFF.(Finance Foundation)
As a member of the SMHFF.(Finance Foundation) board I have no knowledge of :
- information regarding the matters and issues attributed to Mr. Lynch and Colleagues
- any decision made by the board of SMHFF.(Finance Foundation) to suspend Mr. Lynch and Colleagues
- the authorization of any attorney to act on my behalf or on SMHFF's(Finance Foundation) behalf, to write letters to suspend Mr. Henry Lynch and Colleagues.
- the authorization of any attorney to act on my behalf or on SMHFF's(Finance Foundation) behalf, as regards to the alleged seizure of Mr. Lynch's and Colleagues personal property
- who is in possession of Mr. Lynch's and Colleagues personal property.
I do hope that the above clarifies my involvement (rather non involvement) as regards the matter of Mr. Henry Lynch and Colleagues and actions of the SMHDF board and alleged actions/decisions of SMHFF board.
