PHILIPSBURG:--- The Central Committee of Parliament session that was scheduled on Tuesday afternoon December 16th, has been rescheduled to Wednesday morning.
Due to a lack of a quorum, the 1:30pm Central Committee meeting was rescheduled for Wednesday, December 17th at 10:00am in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelmina Straat #1 in Philipsburg.
The agenda point concerns the composition of the delegation and provisions for the next Kingdom Parliamentary Contact meeting between representatives of the Kingdom Affairs committees that are part of the parliaments of Curacao, Aruba, the Netherlands and Sint Maarten.
The next Kingdom Parliamentary Contact meeting will take place in Aruba in January 2015.
Members of the public are invited to the House of Parliament to attend parliamentary deliberations.
The House of Parliament is located across from the Court House in Philipsburg.
The parliamentary session will be carried live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 120, via Pearl Radio FM 98.1, the audio via the Internet www.pearlfmradio.com, and also via www.sxmparliament.org.
