PHILIPSBURG:--- The House of Parliament will meet in a Central Committee setting on October 29th.
The Central Committee meeting is set for Wednesday at 10:00am in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelmina Straat #1 in Philipsburg.
There is a three point agenda: an invitation for the President of Parliament to attend the Kingdom Concert scheduled for December 15, 2014 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands; the second agenda is a Parlatino Parliament meeting of Parliamentarians on Women, Politics, Democracy and Sustainable Development in the XXI Century which will be held November 27 and 28 in Panama; and the third agenda point is a final report by the Committee of Integrity Pubic Administration Transparency dated July 12, 2014 entitled, "Doing the Right Things Right."
Members of the public are invited to the House of Parliament to attend parliamentary deliberations.
The House of Parliament is located across from the Court House in Philipsburg.
The parliamentary session will be carried live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 120, via Pearl Radio FM 98.1, the audio via the Internet www.pearlfmradio.com, and also via www.sxmparliament.org.
