Organizers calls on population to come out to defend their rights
PHILIPSBURG:--- The Peoples United for True Democracy (PUTD) will be holding a march as of 2pm on Sunday October 26th 2014. Organizers of (PUTD) said they were forced to reschedule the march which was supposed to take place last Monday due to the passing of hurricane Gonzalo. The organizers namely, Etienne Tochi Meyers is calling on the entire population including all politicians to come out on Sunday to protest against the unconstitutional measures taken by the Kingdom Government when they issued an instruction to the Governor of St. Maarten on October 17th 2014.
Meyers made clear that the protest march planned for Sunday is not a political march therefore he appealing to everyone residing on St. Maarten to come out and show their discontentment.
Persons taking part in the march will gather at the WIFOL building on the Pondfill and they will begin marching at 2pm sharp to the Government Administration Building.
