MARIGOT:--- The third suspect involved in the Goldfinger Jewelry store robbery on Wednesday is still at large, confirmed the Gendarmerie. According to information SMN News received the third suspect was seen on top of a roof not far from the Fort Hill. The suspect it is reported was wearing a white shirt and had a firearm in his hand while roaming the property. An eyewitness said that the suspect even used the swimming pool in the private residence and at times would climb on top of the roof to see the movements of the Gendarmes in Marigot area.
SMN News contacted the Gendarmerie and Captain Emmanuel Maijan confirmed that they received the same information and the gendarmes spent about four to five hours trying to hunt down the wanted robber. Captain Maijan said that despite their efforts they did not catch the third suspect. On Wednesday SMN News reported that the suspects are of Colombian decent (Spanish speaking persons). However, Commandant of the Gendarmerie refused to release the nationalities of the suspects. The Commandant of the Gendarmerie said they were foreigners. Captain Emmanuel Maijan confirmed on Thursday that the two suspects in custody are from Venezuela.
