TelEm Group main sponsor for Carnival 2015

telemdonatestoscdf18092014POND ISLAND:--- TelEm Group and the St. Maarten Carnival Development Foundation (SCDF) are once again joining forces to stage St. Maarten's premier Carnival event for the next two years.
Both parties recently signed an exclusive contract granting TelEm Group certain promotional rights in the weeks leading up to carnival and during the main carnival events themselves.
Key to the agreement is the exclusive presence of TelEm Group in the Festival Village where the great majority of the carnival events are hosted.

According to TelEm Group Chief Commercial Officer, (CCO) Mr. Brian Mingo, the company's now well-known splash of red will be "blinding" for the 2015 carnival extravaganza.
"We learned a lot as the exclusive sponsor of this year's carnival which we plan to put into place to make Carnival 2015 the most memorable so far for TelEm Group," said the Commercial chief.
He expects the company's bank of volunteers both inside and outside the company to once again play their part and will be calling the first meetings soon to start putting firm plans in place for next year.
SCDF President, Michael Granger said on behalf of the board and volunteers of the St. Maarten Carnival Development Foundation (SCDF), he is extremely happy that TelEm Group and SCDF have finalized an agreement once again for two more years of partnership.
"Our relationship continues to grow and we expect it to blossom all in the benefit of Carnival. Carnival is by far St. Maarten's largest, oldest and longest calendar event and the contributions of TelEm over the past few years has been key in our growth.
"TelEm is once again our main sponsor and will be very active before and during the Carnival season. We look forward to what should be a terrific partnership with our country's largest telecom provider, " Mr. Granger said.
He also announced that currently, SCDF has opened registration for all aspects of Carnival and is busy finalizing other logistics and the schedule for Carnival 2015.

Registration forms can be collected at the Government Administration Building in Philipsburg and at The Daily Herald on Bush Road.

SCDF officially launched the 2015 Carnival schedule with the dates of all Carnival activities on Wednesday, this week.
