PHILIPSBURG:--- On Sunday, August 17th, 2014 at approximately 2:00pm Frankie Meyers, the #3 candidate on the United People Party's slate, Frankie Meyers, was massively joined by supporters, The Caribbean Eagles Club and the SXM Fearless Riders Club on an around the Island ride. A total of 40 motorbikes and ATV's, with male and female riders, attended the rally.
The group started at the Caribbean Eagles Clubhouse in Cole Bay, and took the ride over The Causeway, past the airport to the Sunset Beach Bar where they stopped for refreshments. Many visitors had the opportunity not only to admire the spectacular landings but they were also treated to the vast array of bikes. Many took pictures of the entourage some of them, asking what the ride was about. There were several tourists who asked for souvenir T-shirts from the Frankie 3 campaign to take back to home.
The group continued the ride through the Simpson Bay Center to Saunders, through Madame Estate, Middle Region, Sucker Garden, Point Blanche, Philipsburg to end at Monchie's in Sucker Garden.
Frankie Meyers is the # 3 candidate on the UPP slate for the August 29th, 2014 election.
