PHILIPSBURG:--- The Indiana Pacers Head coach Frank Vogel, is visiting the Island with his family and friends and met up with the #3 candidate of the United People's Party, Frankie Meyers. Mr. Vogel, upon arrival, seeing all the colorful posters of the political parties, took special note of the posters featuring ' #3 He's Back' and wanted to know how he could meet this candidate. Well as fate would have it, Frankie Meyers was having breakfast at the same place as one of the members travelling in the group of Mr. Vogel. After a brief introduction plans were made to have both "Frankies" meet so that the #3 candidate could present a token of the St. Maarten elections in the form of a shirt and a cap from his campaign. For Frankie Meyers this was a wonderful moment as Basketball is one of his all-time favorite sports.
The Indiana Pacers are a professional Basketball team based in Indianapolis. They are members of the Central Division in the Eastern Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA). This past season was their 46th season and the 4th under head coach Frank Vogel.
Frankie thanked Mr. Vogel for choosing St. Maarten as his vacation destination and wished him and his family a wonderful stay.
